Why does water boil at lower temperatures on a mountain or higher
altitudes?

At sea level, air pressure is 14.7 pounds per square inch; water will
boil at 100 degrees Celsius at that pressure.

Since air pressure decrease as you increase the atmosphere, and since
mountain pressure is less than sea level pressure, it doesn't take as
much temperature to make water boil.
