"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need."

- Hebrews 4:16

"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."

- James 4:10

"Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."

- 2 Peter 3:13

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"   Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all those who are far off - for all whom the Lord God will call." With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and their goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.  And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

- Acts 2:37-47

"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

- Galatians 5:16

"For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation."

- Ephesians 2:14

"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead..."

- Philippians 3:13

"If when you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God."

- Colossians 3:1

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!"

- Psalms 150:6

"Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you are doing."

- 1 Thessalonians 5:11

"For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come."

- 1 Timothy 4:8

"If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and I if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end. For we know only in part, and we prophecy only in part; but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love."

- 1 Corinthians 13

"The steps of a man are from the Lord, and he establishes him in whose way he delights; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord is the stay of his hand."

- Psalm 37:23-24

"You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all; and you show that you are a letter of Christ, prepared by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts."

- II Corinthians 3:2-3

"Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.  Not that we are competent to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant."

- II Corinthians 3:4-6a

"Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"

- Matthew 19:13-14

Let your "yes" be "yes" and your "no" be "no," so that you may not fall under condemnation.
